The battlefield, sprite animations and battle log reuse the MIT-licensed Pokémon Showdown battle viewer:
https://github.com/smogon/pokemon-showdown-client
Copyright Pokémon Showdown contributors; battle viewer author Guangcong Luo.
The move, target, switch and team controls reuse the unmodified AGPLv3 Showdown battle-room client.
Its [source, provenance and license](vendor/showdown/README.md) ship with this site in `vendor/showdown/`.
The local adapter source is [showdown-controls.mjs](shared/showdown-controls.mjs), with action translation in
[choices.mjs](shared/choices.mjs) and page integration in [app.mjs](app.mjs). These integrations are provided under AGPLv3.
Backbone and Lodash are MIT licensed; their source headers retain their notices.
Viewer dependencies include jQuery (MIT)
and the Google Caja HTML sanitizer (Apache-2.0). Original source headers remain in downloaded assets.
Source URLs and SHA-256 hashes are recorded in viewer-lock.json. Sprites, backgrounds and viewer styles
are vendored from play.pokemonshowdown.com for offline play. Their source URLs and SHA-256 checksums
ship in artwork-lock.json. Derived local styles retain their upstream notices; the unmodified
control styles remain in vendor/showdown. Local resource adapters are showdown-assets.js and showdown-local.js.

The team importer and full format validator are bundled from the repository's pinned, unmodified
Pokémon Showdown simulator (https://github.com/smogon/pokemon-showdown). Their MIT license is
distributed as SHOWDOWN-LICENSE, and their source is included in team-validator.mjs.
build-validator.cjs supplies an in-memory CommonJS loader and browser shims for data loading.
The bundled validator dependency ts-chacha20 is MIT licensed, copyright 2017 Mykola Bubelich;
its license ships as TS-CHACHA20-LICENSE.
